When the bold branches
Bid farewell to rainbow leaves -
Welcome wool sweaters.

Well, I did it. Several mornings ago I awoke to the pretty, patchy, perfect patter of snow outside my window and had my first bowl of cream of wheat. It was magical, kids. It was... a bit too runny. So I tried to make up for it the next day with adding in a bit more of the wheat. Gluten-free, eat your heart out. *sticks out tongue*
Then, several days later, I awoke to even more snow, and even more of a need to make the perfect breakfast. This time I had someone to share it with, so I decided to break tradition and craft some pancakes. Except... I made her do it. I just flipped them. No matter what you say about snow, it's always the ideal weather when you're waking up in a warm bed with someone you care about and pancakes on your mind. What could be more cozy?
