Hi.

Just a girl, a whisk, and some counter space.

Introducing...

Felix!

So this post is purely just to show both the cuteness of our new pup, as well as the gullibleness of his new owners. We're completely smitten with Felix, a rescue obtained from Animal Control via Lucky Dog Retreat in Indy. Lucky Dog was doing an event at one of our favorite dinner/drink spots in Broad Ripple (lovingly referred to as Tails n' Ales). This sweetie was the calmest canine we'd ever seen without being Yellow Dog from Funny Farm (you get major points if you know that movie). We adopted him right after dinner (and ales). They certainly know how to get people reined into pet adoption - get them some beers and a fluffy mutt!

We picked up Felix this morning from LDR and promptly took him to buy pet supplies (including, but not limited to) an array of toys, treats, chicken strips, leads, and one HUGE dog bed with removable everything.

We are happy to report he's great in walks, unphased by babies and major stimulation, and only somewhat interested in the cats. He's also juuuust able to wiggle out of his new collar, but gullible enough to come back for a treat. Nobody's perfect, and I'd definitely come back for a treat, too.
