Felix, our hound mix pup, turns one year old.
His full name is Felix Felicis Lennox, though he has many names: Fe, FeFi, Pupperoni, and Asshat (when he's just finished chewing up the carpet in the hallway).
He enjoys long walks in the snow, trips to the dog park, and brushing his teeth (I'm not joking).
Fe's life goal is to be a good boy in the kitchen while his moms are at work all day. Though he tries hard, he doesn't quite understand the world won't end just because they leave for the day.
When he's not kicking around his giant kong for food, he can be found staring at the budgie cage, eviscerating a plush toy (squeaker first), or sleeping on the mat outside the shower.
This year, FeFi plans to work on his communication with the cats, learn how to roll over, and get even more dogs to play chase with him at the dog park.
Fe's a good "16" year old, and we couldn't imagine our menagerie without his furry face at the helm. He makes us laugh, frown, and snuggle him repeatedly. We love you, FeFi. Never stop being you.
